Welcome to my blog, my name is Ana.
I am a Spanish Physicist in Love with Photography.
I am a physicist and currently researching in the NanoPhotonics centre at the University of Cambridge, UK. As you might have guessed from the title of this blog, I love photography too. My favourite things to photograph are landscapes, cities and travels. I think that the best photographs are those that come hand in hand with good memories and funny stories. You can view my photography portfolio at TheSpanishAna.com.
I am passionate about the relationship between photography and physics – especially optics. In this blog I write about cool physics and how I incorporate it into my photography. I have covered topics such as bokeh, depth of field, and shooting through glass orbs, as well as written tutorials on tiny planets, neutral density filters, and panoramas. I look forward to having you join me on this adventure of scientific and artistic exploration and I’d love to hear your thoughts on it.
Thank you for reading!!
xx Ana 🙂
